MN Rollergirls
Uh, also this is kinda wheel-culture oriented. Local derby sweethearts the Minnesota Rollergirls are wrapping up their season with a championship bout Saturday. I'm going to be there tomorrow and you should too. Come out & show your support for alternative sports. Rollerblades good, wiper blades bad.

I totally heart RollerDerby.
If I only had the guts…sigh.
It began in Austin, Texas in the year 2000 and spread like wildfire throughout the country. RollerDerby was back! Within the last six years RollerDerby teams have sprung up in every major city in the United States. Teams like the Rat City Roller Girls in Seattle and the Big Easy Roller Girls in NOLA have been tearing up the tracks! Local bouts between teams turn into Battle-Royal-Style games as cities are pitted against cities in a frenzy to find out who's got the best team. This is quite frankly the most exciting local entertainment to be found. And it’s all grass-roots organized and women-centered and run. Add your team to the map. Add your photos and videos from the games. Post about the latest matches and definitely post pix of your favorite Roller Girls.
